Here are a few photos from one of our major suppliers in Los Angeles, Ca.
This is looking from the center of the warehouse toward the holding tanks. If you were looking the other way, there is that much warehouse again for dry goods.
This is looking at another view of the holding tanks. This is the coral section. Notice the large pendant metal halide lighting fixtures. The black boxes on top of the tanks are surge systems for corals and anemones.
Here you can see across the warehouse. Each row of tanks has an upper and lower parts. As many as 200 small fish are held in one compartment. Look carefully and you can see green chromis.
This a view of the bagging tables. In front of the left hand table is a grey cart you use to walk the isles and pull your fish, corals, etc. On the cart is a plastic tub which has the 12 seahorses we purchased for one of our customers
This a view of a bagging table showing oxygen lines and 2 PVC pipes that deliver 2 different salinity water's. The inverts are kept in 1.023 salinity while the fish are kept in 1.019 salinity. Here too you can see the grey carts and plastic bins we put creatures in.
